In collaboration with Elsa Melo, Julia Salerno and Jaquie Belén, Darcy presents works of embroidery, silkscreen and paper sculptures that blend traditional craft to contemporary art at his first NYC solo art show entitled “Encompass”..

Darcy Cabrera is a Colombian multidisciplinary artist and musician. His art practice involves assembling textured and solid images, using colors and residual materials to create forms that blend natural and artificial elements. Beyond visual art, he co-founded Casa Rat Trap, an autonomous cultural center in Bogotá focused on DIY art and music. He also plays in bands such as Espinosa and Muro, releasing albums and touring internationally.
